Because the details sit inside the metal capsule rather than on the outside of a tag, they stay out of sight until someone opens it. The capsule separates into two threaded sections with a textured exterior that is easy to grip. Each one weighs approximately 0.10 oz, so it adds little bulk to everyday collar wear, and the included split ring attaches to a compatible D-ring or attachment loop.
