Expandable Dog Car Window Guard
Description
Curious dogs love watching the world go by, but a wide-open car window can make it easier for them to lean, reach or push toward the opening. The Companion Bay Expandable Dog Car Window Guard adds an adjustable barrier across the open part of a rear side window. Its accordion-style design lets you create a smaller, more controlled opening while keeping airflow and outside visibility.
Pull the guard horizontally to match your rear side-window opening. It needs no drilling, adhesive, suction cups or permanent modification to the vehicle. The open diamond lattice lets air through while your dog can still look outside, and the guard folds flat into a slim stack that is easy to keep in a door pocket, seat-back organiser or boot. It is lightweight, made with black PP plastic slats, smooth rounded ends and metal pivot rivets. Available in Small, for windows up to 25.2 inches wide, and Large, for windows up to 40.2 inches wide.
To install, lower the rear side window about halfway, place the guard inside the upper opening, expand it to match, then raise the glass slowly until it supports the guard. Check that it sits securely before driving. Measure your window first, as vehicles vary. Never leave your dog unattended in a car, and always supervise your dog on car rides. This guard is not a substitute for a crash-tested restraint.
